Yeah, there is that. The idea of the World Series trophy being taken to a country other than the U.S.A. is kind of not right.  :turned:

If it was a small market team in the world series I'd probably be pulling for them. But...it's the Dodgers. David vs Goliath. Go David!

You're new around here aren't you?

That's like asking Cryler, Brokeback and Shit if they can go an hour without a TDS flareup.

Back to baseball - game last night, even though the score was what it was had me on the edge of my seat. 9th inning looked like dodgers were going to stage a comeback

Elmer Fudd

Game 7. Extra innings. So many close calls. Both teams had chances. Glad they can challenge calls.

I truly feel bad for the Blue Jays; that being said, what an ending!

The ninth inning and the Dodgers up with 1 out and Toronto ahead. The announcers had started their praise of Toronto and what a great season they had, apparently assuming the game was pretty much over. I debated going to bed but I like seeing Yamamoto pitch so I stayed up to watch the end. Rojas seemingly coming from out of nowhere in the ninth to tie the game. Smith with the go ahead home run and then that double play at the end.

Both teams had the bases loaded with no outs and neither team scored.
Yamamoto is a beast!
I thoroughly enjoyed this series.

Bucky Cornstarch

I was in a pizza joint activity rooting for the Jays (Duck the Fodgers) and some knucklehead whined out "why can't you root for America?!"

Felt good, man.

Back to baseball: The Dodgers beating the Blue Jays is the equivalent of Guatemala invading the US and the US prevailing in the conflict.

The fact that it went to seven was a feat in itself.

I had a dilemma. I rooted for the Blue Jays during the playoffs. Initially, it wasn't the Dodgers I liked it was Freddy Freeman. Then I started watching Yamamoto pitch and I became a fan.

And, yeah, the whole USA thing.

Why do you hate America? :)  :)

I was rooting anybody but LA.  so I guess I was on team David too.
