The sad thing is that we think it remarkable when a journalist and/or news organization is held accountable.

Big black cat? :headscratch:

What were you thinking?

On a similar note, my supervisor Googled "Dicks", thinking sporting goods, at work. He said he had to close that tab fast!

Western Tool used to (25 years ago) have a small catalog for a limited amount of items they guaranteed in stock same day local delivery.  Common stuff like drills and endmills, and stuff for deburring and polishing.  Called the Western Tool Supply Express catalog, which had its own website with WTS and then express dot com.  You do not want to search wtsexpress from your work computer.  You might learn some stuff about drilling holes and working thru some slots or polishing some parts - but not in metal.

@jstell : I used to work at a bike shop in Palo Alto, CA. They also had a mail-order company upstairs that had a phone number that was just one digit different from the local "VD Hotline", and from time to time they would field calls from folks who were concerned that "it hurts when I pee" or wondering if this "rash" was anything to worry about!

A friend's father (RIP) used to work for Ingersoll (compressors) and his title was "Supervisor of Erection"...I kid you not! I've got a photo of this on my phone somewhere-I can prove it! We were at a barbecue at his house attended by his mother (visiting CA from Rhode Island), and while one of us held up the biz card to be photographed, you can see his mom in the background howling with laughter! Both of his parents had a colorful sense of humor!

The BBC needs to retract it by Friday or Trump will sue them for $1 billion.

Have you seen the division on Twatter?
It's massively ignited the "orange man bad" again.
All the "stars" coming out to claim "the BBC is our institution".
Well, the amount of pedo's it harboured.... burn it all down.

It never went away.
The morons have cried about Trump the moment he announced he was running as a Republican.
Weird isn't it? He was loved and adored up until that moment by those very same people.

It had settled down in the UK.... but the self-righteous actors, and fellow beautiful people, are all rallying around calling for "a joining of force to protect everyone's BBC"

Not true.  But the difference was I had very little reason to discuss him at all, because I wasn't affected by his shitty behavior.  At the time it was just a passing muse to count the bankruptcies and divorces and lawsuits and scams of steak and school and a book he didn't write and 'reality' tv.

To be fair, the UK has been taking BBC for some time, lol.
