No even close.

I'm just not down for a religion thats okay with the oppression of women and violence towards outsiders.

You're probably fine with that if I had to
guess.

But you seem to be fine with a government that does exactly that. Interesting.

Are you still in Texas?

Google's not turning up much stoning or killing by Muslims in Texas. At least not for me. Where you getting your "news?"

I have Muslim Somalian Neighbours. We hear enough about Somalian gangs that maybe they're not the most desirable demographic to live next to. They've been the best neighbours I've ever had.
The most 'disruptive' they are is when call to prayer is on I hear the music if I'm outside- but it's kind of cool.

Most good Christians are community minded enough they welcome Muslim families with open arms, and know enough about Islam to find things in common.
And they don't post online, ha.

If the SCOTUS rules against California's redistricting, are we going to be able to agree that they are ruling based on politics after allowing the Texas maps?

Federal judges uphold California's maps under Prop 50, case expected to go to Supreme Court

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

There's a redistricting kerfuffle going on in Utah now too. It's headed to Utah State Supreme Court.

We'll see how it plays out.

There's an element to the case that doesn't get a lot of air-play but could have influence over the final outcome. The People's Republik of Kommieforniastan is NOTORIOUS for naming and describing initiatives in an intentionally deceptive manner.

Get real! "Truth in Advertising" is nowhere to be found anywhere in the political arena, and California has got lotsa company in this regard (sadly).

Not to the level they inflict that deception on the electorate in The PRK.

Quote from: CNCAppsJames on November 18, 2025, 12:17 PMThey could lose another one or two EC Votes next census if the exodus continues.

Mrs gcode and I will be headed east shortly.
We have already unregistered to vote, not that our votes made any difference.
The Cali vote counting system is so deeply rigged and corrupt that you'd have to be a complete fool
to believe your vote counts.
