In before the resident vegan comes in with big vegtable propaganda.

They should add my oldest son to that list of people benefitting from 100% carnivore diet. He had vitiligo (sp?) also an auto-immune disease so I've been told. He went 100% carnivore ~3 years ago. His skin is back to normal. His weight is where he wants it, etc...

Honest question here: do we know that the positive effects referenced here are a result of eating meat, or of not eating other things (plant-based foods, etc)? Are there any studies that have explored this?

Historically....over many many many years.... man has always eaten meat.
Haven't we?
Now I realise the Gavi Emperor wants us all to kill cows and eat squeezy meat from a tube because cow farts>glowball warming, apparently, but the only thing i ever rabbit holed was linking C to burnt meat red aka over cooked.
And f course, whether that's a real link or a paid/biased link, who knows now.
I haven't looked any further than that and we prolly only eat red once a month - the rest of the time it's chicken - 2 or 3 times a week.
Because there's nothing like Campylobacter to keep us regular
