May even lay off the doubles.  Gonna have to learn how to manual.

Just glad I can still ride.

I was reading a blog this weekend from a physical therapist that works at a rehab facility and deals with many athletes and sports related injuries. He used the term "prehab" for what he called the time from injury to surgery. He said so many people get hurt and then just stop exercising and then their bodies that are used to exercise and mobility just start to tighten up. He said when people do responsible prehab their after surgery PT goes way better. That in mind I moved my treadmill downstairs this weekend and brought up my rowing machine. Doc said rowing is good to keep mobility and tone. I also switched up my regular routine today to be a little rowing, mostly upper body weights, some core, and some light bodyweight lower body movement drills. The only other piece is I need to tighten up my diet to maximize nutrition for recovery. Everything I keep reading is 9-12 months before you can train BJJ after an ACL repair. I'm not as worried about time as I am giving my knee the best chance to heal.

I dunno. He got to roll around with a 20 something girl in tight fitting gym clothes. And lived. And stayed married.

Had surgery this morning. Doc said went very well and no other damage than ACL. That should help recovery. Pretty doped up right now so not much pain. I'm sure tomorrow when the nerve blockers wear off it will be a different story.

Good luck on a speedy rehab. It sounds like you kept yourself in pretty good shape so that should help out quite a lot.
