We never saw any severe meat shortages here but I do keep 3 to 4 weeks of reserve in the freezer and cycle it through as I use it.

We have a fair amount of food stocked up. Probably could use some more. We need more freezer storage space though. Been working on rearranging stuff to fit it in. We do keep stocked up on a lot of stuff because we live in earthquake country. We're LONG overdue for The Big One. Social unrest, shortages, pandemic, natural disaster. It's all the same, and i's all inevitable.

And ammo. You'll want to have lots and lots of ammo because the people that do not prepare ARE gonna come knocking. And they ain't gonna be polite houseguests. You may be forced to make some hard choices.

my brother has a butcher shop and ever since the start of covid he has been swamped with work. Farmers cant find places to butcher their animals because butchers have been so busy, they have even had to turn down a lot of work because they have so much.
