I tend to agree with this sentiment. the real story is not that immigrants were taking this money, as frustrating at that is. The real story is that the government is better at taking our money in the form of taxes than they are at managing it, and people who think that government take-over of the health care industry will instantly make everything better are delusional.

Republicans ought to resist the temptation to make the Minnesota fraud story an immigration story, because that's not what it is. taped meeting with Feeding Our Future leaders and Keith Ellison, where they are putting pressure on government officials to stop investigations and regulations on the Somalian owned businesses. Ellison at one point in the recording tells them that Walz is in agreement with him that these day cares should be less regulated. by the way, this reporting isn't all that new. it's from April 2025.  Seems to go against the public statements Ellison and Walz are making now.

Keith Ellison, Minnesota's Attorney General, can clearly be heard pledging his support to individuals who would soon become his family's campaign donors and later Feeding Our Future criminal defendants.

His recorded statements flatly contradict his contemporaneous public statements and raise uncomfortable questions about the intersection between political fundraising and constituent services.

American Experiment has exclusively obtained the complete 54-minute, 44-second audio file of a private December 2021 meeting between state Attorney General (AG) Keith Ellison and key figures in the Feeding Our Future scandal.

As I wrote last week, the audio file was named as Exhibit 710 on the evidence list presented to the court by Aimee Bock's defense attorney, Kenneth Udoibok. The recording was not offered into evidence during the six-week trial that concluded last month, with Bock's conviction on all seven counts she faced. A timeline of relevant events can be found here.

As a document, it exceeds expectations. Voices can be heard clearly and are clearly identifiable. The highlights, which are many, tend to be front-loaded. I've included below some clips from the meeting to highlight a few points.

I'm not opposed to seeing whether this guy or Nick Shirley is lying or covering for some narrative.

One quick thing that I noticed was that he said nobody would open the door when 3 people come to the door with cameras and masks on. I watched the shirley video. none of them were wearing masks, unless there is some other video that I haven't seen.
