QuoteWHY WIND AND SOLAR ENERGY ARE DOOMED TO FAILURE
Wind and solar energy are both essentially obsolete technologies. There is a reason why only the very rich or the very adventurous sail across oceans: the wind is unreliable, and at best produces relatively little energy. Nevertheless, liberals have concocted fantasies whereby all of our electricity, or perhaps our entire economy, will be powered by those fickle sources.

There are a number of reasons why this will never happen, but a paper published last week by Center of the American Experiment argues that land use constraints are the most basic reason why wind and solar are inexorably destined to fail. The paper, titled Not In Our Backyard, is authored by internationally recognized energy expert Robert Bryce, producer of the terrific documentary Juice: How Electricity Explains The World and the book A Question of Power: Electricity and the Wealth of Nations

Good ol nuclear holding strong and biomas was flat out at 8%LoL.
Heavens knows how they're going to cope with 30million more eleccy vehicles that want to be charged...

That's like the idiot greenies here is LaLa Land  all holier than thou about how green we are
They kept uping the laws about how much of Cali's energy must be renewable and what percentage of
cars sold in Cali must be zero emissions. They've even set a date after which all new cars sold in Cali
must be zero emissions (2035 ?? I think)
Meanwhile we import 80% of our energy from coal powered plants in Nevada and Arizona.

Our state is 60% idiots with no clue, run by said idiots. Closing down the 100% most reliable and efficient power generation facilities known to man as fast as they can in favor of pixie dust, unicorn farts, and rainbows.

Nuclear power is absolutely the cleanest, most reliable energy source man has devised. Technology today makes it safer than ever. France doesn't do much right, but their nuclear tech... top shelf.

i'm going to play devil's advocate here, so when the experts and such say covid is real and look at the deaths you ran and had yourself injected. now when the climate scientists and such say reduce the geenhouse and carbon footprints, you find articles that counter it!

like i said just messing and playing devil's advocate..........
:sofa:

playing devil's advocate - what does Fauci have to gain by peddling a conspiracy?

Fauci is a government mouthpiece.

That would be nice.

But the eco-Nazis just won't allow it in the places we really need it.

If I had Elon Musk $$$, I'd build a few nuclear plants along the Kalifornia/Nevada border. On the Nevada side, of course. When the residents of Kalifornia finally get sick of rolling blackouts when it's 115 degrees, they won't care much how their power was generated.

you'll end up starving and freezing in the dark trying to find gas for your illegal bootleg generator.
I'll be dead and gone and won't give a sh!t

i run a little solar to light my shop.
what i have learned is    SOLAR DOES NOT WORK AT NIGHT
lol. I have created a hi bred system that plugs into the grid when batteries get low.
pretty high tech thinking to get to that, not. but way above our governments ability's. so sad

Likely a nuclear war from fighting for clean energy.
