Home Insurance before $4K+ if you can find it
Car insurance  before $4k per year for 2 cars and perfect driving records

                        after  $3K per year for home and car insurance on one policy

Vehicle Registration  before  $900/year for a 2 year old Acrua RDX 
                                               $750/year for a 2 year old Mazda X3

                                 after   $80/year each $160 total

I won't even bother with the differences in gasoline, electricity, natural gas and water bills.

State Income Tax  before 13% of taxable income
                             after  0%

Spain with LOTS of police and billiard table roads 220 PA.

Cyprus early days - near zero police. Roads are better than UK but 75% zero markings as the white lines are worn away.... Costs same as Spain.

Car insurance UK 1.5K (CAr + bike)
Spain Cyprus 1000 (both of us on car + me motorbike)
Vehicle registration UK 600+ PA
Spain Cyprus Car+bike 100 for both
