Quote from: jstell on Today at 12:02 PMI gave some stats from Texas.  It's a border state and red enough I thought there was a chance you'd believe their audit.

This is from Michigan:  https://www.npr.org/2025/07/30/nx-s1-5462836/noncitizen-voting-trump-ceir-review  In the quote there is a link to https://www.michigan.gov/sos/resources/news/2025/04/03/michigan-department-of-state-review-confirms-instances-of-noncitizen-voting-are-extremely-rare
I don't know what fear factory has set your heart ablaze on this issue, but it is a virtually non-existent problem.

I'll give you credit for posting your source. NPR LOL!!! ::)

It was the first link to specific results, and got me the link to Michigan Dept of State.  Same as I put from TX in the other thread a while ago, the state's own audit.

As well as a couple posts above that one, analysis from Brennan Center, which is affiliated with NYU School of Law and has a reputation for producing rigorous research.  No surprise some see it as partisan, its splash page motto:  We stand for: the rule of law, the freedom to vote, and democracy.  Unfortunately one of the political parties in this country more and more does not support those three basic tenets of the representative republic in which we live.

I haven't been able to find one from California or NY but I'd guess it exists.  California illegal voter as search terms is bad because some jurisdictions allow non-citizens to vote in some local elections.

Simple question in which state do you abide?

California, same story as the rest.  Infinitesimally small and statistically insisgnificant.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jul/29/justice-department-california-non-citizen-voters
QuoteLast month, election officials in Orange county, California, told the justice department that 17 non-citizens had become registered to vote since 2020. Sixteen of those people self-reported they were non-citizens, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Link from within that quote:
https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-06-25/justice-department-sues-orange-county-registrar-to-get-data-from-noncitizen-voting-records
QuoteOver a five-year period, Orange County identified 17 noncitizens who had registered to vote, Page told the federal agency in a June 16 letter, sent in response to the June 2 request. Those people either "self-reported" that they were not citizens or were deemed ineligible by the Orange County district attorney's office
Not voted, registered.
