We're slowish at the moment, so I decided to take 2027 for a ride. Same as it ever was...

I opened up a 2022 file I finished a week ago, "Verify selected operations" yields:
"Unknown exception occurred!"
"Error on operation number 2.  Errors detected in the input data stream. The simulation process will now stop."

I then created an "Everpath" finishing operation. on every parameter change it immediately begins "Rebuilding toolpath...", which uses 100% of my processor. Change the cutting geometry, rebuild. Change the containment, rebuild. Change the stepdown, rebuild. Change the cut method, rebuild. Yada, yada, yada.

I finally killed it through task manager & uninstalled it.

No thanks, I'm good with 2022.

If only they let AI write the code...

I wonder if they are planning on another patch for 2026. Not being able to verify transformed operations in R2 makes it pretty much worthless for us.

So far, the only "fix" they have offered me is going back to R1

There's supposed to be a R2 Update1 coming soon.  At this rate 2027 will be out and not working before they make 2026 work.

If you have a few moments, could you send me the file that had the Verify error?

Was EverPath returning toolpath results to the screen? What geometry was it/what triggered the need to kill via task manager?
There's an on/off toggle being worked on for the continuous recalc so the user can defer toolpath calc until they green check out- we've just been working first on ensuring that continuous recalc works and has proper notifications to the user.

PM with file info sent.

The recalc time was quite lengthy, and made it impossible to do anything else, so I killed it after the 3rd or 4th time. I can't see the value in recalculating multiple times, before I've even defined all the parameters.
