I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

No. Trump is not a racist. He just doesn't mind if his president is a racist.

Smit

Is anything about that post NOT racist?!?!

I guess that's one advantage of being in your last term as president. You don't have to be discreet about being a racist or embracting grift and corruption.

It must be liberating.

At this point of his presidency it seems like he is just trolling rather than being or doing anything "presidential".

Thats probably true, but why in the hell would you post the most racist shit ever as a sitting US president?

If you're a malignant narcissist this makes perfect sense-punching down is just what you do. If you're a somewhat decent human, not so much....

Another interesting observation: what explains DJT's fixation with his past adversaries? If indeed he has "won" this presidential election what's to quibble about? Is his excellence somehow in question? Are his positive attributes not self-evident? It's incredible to see how thin-skinned he is, but it would be far less apparent to most if he didn't shout it from the rooftops!

I think Gore Vidal was once quoted as saying "it's not enough that I win-you must lose."

In this case, Trump is hardly punching down. He knows that the Obamas set a standard he could never achieve, and that burns him more than anything.

Hence the childish, narcissistic, bigoted behavior.

Why not?  It suits his purpose perfectly.  Distract his detractors with insane memes.  Give the base a laugh at the outrage created.  Or like eminem said:
"I'm only givin' you things you joke about with your friends inside your livin' room
The only difference is I got the balls to say it in front of y'all"

Alright, fair enough.

Just wondering though, where do you get your misinformation? Fox news?

Smit

Ah, no worries, it's been taken down now so no harm done, right?

And surprisingly, it wasn't our racist in chief who posted it. :)

It was an unnamed white house staffer using Trumps social media. So that's good news.

White House deletes racist Trump post depicting Obamas as apes

Excerpt:
QuoteWASHINGTON, Feb 6 (Reuters) - A video shared on Donald Trump's social media account that depicted Democratic former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama as apes was deleted on Friday, following criticism that the U.S. president's post evoked racist imagery long used to dehumanize people of African descent.

"A White House staffer erroneously made the post," said a White House official, who declined to be named. "It has been taken down."
