I though cicada's were those ugly fuckin bugs in the southern states that make a shit ton of noise all hours of the day every few years. Maybe naming a disease after them will convince people to eradicate those fuckin things.

They are, we have them here on the 45th parallel as well. They can be pretty damn annoying above 30°C.
