Honest question (for anybody here, not just Incog): I get it-it takes all types as they say, but if somebody is a dick, do you remember that they're super-skilled, or just that they're a dick? Like, at your funeral, will anybody GAF how many cool parts you knocked out? Will anybody show up?

There are/were many here of the OG who are/were giants of our game walking the walk and talking the talk.
gcode, CrazyRon, TimM (RIP), Hardmill, Zoob, Rekd, Wes, James, JP - and with his fantastico automation skills I'm adding Doug to my list now - all leading the way in their fields - all can be a dick. But we all can be.

It's just s#!t-slinging.  And no facts to have a conversation, even without name-calling, is where we end up when the commander in lies riles up his base and media echo landscape about stupid shit like stolen elections just because he's a cry-baby that can't stand losing.  Can't have a conversation with those folks because there is no agreed-upon facts.

But Red commander lies - he's so FOS his eyes are brown - yes?

IMHO "facts" are the problem. Look at how many things are spoon fed to us as "facts" yet later it comes out otherwise.

It's fairer to say every subject - politics, wars, food, space, let alone pharma, is more manipulated than truth.

How can anybody have a rational conversation with somebody you has a completely different reality than you do?

The point is, oh CNN CBS ABC BBC swallowing wise one, who actually thinks or knows exactly what is going on inside your head, is actually "true"?
