MC 2027 is released

The announcement mail is has not been sent, but MC2027 is available for
download to the public.
It is the same version as the PC1 which was released to beta testers a couple of weeks ago.

in 2026R2U1, all off and on works properly and I use the right click Hide/Show command a lot.

I really like the ability to put a bunch of Levels into a Group and turn the whole Group off or On with a single click.
That is very useful

Did they fix the part where merging files breaks grouping?

Yes, the merge issue should be resolved and some of the biggest fixes also went back into R2 Update 1. If there are merge issues remaining, we'd like to hear about them.

 
I think the remaining "issues" with merge will be around expectations in conflict scenarios when merging, and always doing something that seems sensible. IE meeting expectations for merging mainly in the third case of the three below.

No groups -> Groups
Groups -> No Groups
Groups -> Groups

Similar in concept to some of the competing expectations with solid names and the like when coming from solidworks and dealing with configurations.
