Intel vrs AMD

It's getting time to retire my current rig.

I've always run with Intel but I'm wondering who many people are running Mastercam with AMD processors.

MSChat says AMD is better for large files as they have more cores and cam process more threads.

 

This forum's System Requirements list AMD in the minimum specs, but recommends Intel

Who's running AMD? Is it time to give AMD serious consideration??
