Unfortunately we now have probably two generations of young adults and kids who were never disciplined when they were kids, and consequently they can't function in a civilized society.  They grew up always getting their own way, and never hearing the word "NO", so when they suddenly don't get their own way they have a temper tantrum instead of a rational, adult conversation.

I guess it is also possible this young woman may have some mental health issues, but I think it's just as likely she is a spoiled little princess who always got her own way.

Yep, I'm calling out parents my age (and mostly younger) who failed miserably at disciplining their children and enabled them to become spoiled brats well into adulthood.

seems people are a bit more touchy in general these days , I know find myself trying to be " kinder and gentler " these days , due to that .
In my younger days , say 10 years back not so much  , if you asked for it you got it .
Probably wouldn't have gone off on a attendant on a flight , that's just stupid  , but if you put your hands on me or mine ,there would be trouble.
