I've always liked the Reds. The Big Red Machine. Great 70's teams. Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, George Foster, Cesar Geronimo, Tony Perez, Dave Concepcion, Ken Griffey. Rivaled the '27 Yankees in hitting.


Back then the All Star game was played by those who actually deserved it. In the Seventies the national league roster was almost all Reds and Dodgers.

I would hope that I see at least one more WS for the Cubs but that could very well not happen. I started as a Reds fan when our family moved to Ohio. I went to Crosley field about a dozen times and then Riverfront about the same number of times.
