A malfunctioning Israeli satellite fell out of orbit and just happened to hit the ship.  :rolleyes:

Plausible, Maybe not Probable.

I read an article stating that an uncontrollable fire broke out in the engine room.
It could be poor maintenance and it could be sabotage
