I'm with you in that I have nothing politically correct to say about this one.

I don't think that someone should be killed over a catalytic converter.  The guy who owned the truck said "I'm sick of my shit getting stolen"  paraphrasing that.

The victim will be going to prison for murder
No winners here..
I feel bad for the guy.. replacing a catalytic convertor can cost over a grand
and the cops treat it like petty theft. I can understand his rage.
The law won't help us and they lock us up when we take care of ourselves.

They busted a couple of kids up in San Berdo with a quarter million worth of stolen cat converters piled
up in their living room a couple of months ago.
It's like the plague around here.
I am very grateful I can park my cars in a garage,

looks like BLM should get involved on behalf of the guy in that video. he's harmless and a model citizen per their recent role models.

Shooting someone over theft of a catalytic converter is way over the top to begin with, but then dragging the thief around by the trailer hitch on your truck is just plain psychotic.
This guy is obviously mentally unbalanced to the point where he can't function in a normal society.

I've had my catalytic converter stolen.
It's a giant PITA, especially since when they ripped mine out they also damaged the wiring for the transmission, so I had to get that fixed too.  
Yeah, I was pissed off, but I can't see shooting the guy, even if I caught him in the act.

Yeah.. dragging the guy was over the top.

but
lets see how you feel after the 3rd or 4th time.

One of my neighbors has had his truck/trailer/wheels stolen so many times he strings heavy steel cable through all his
wheels and locks the cable with a padlock.
He takes his trailer wheels off and leaves his trailer sitting on bricks.
It must take him an hour or more to get his truck and trailer ready for work every morning.
It doesn't stop the thefts but does reduce the frequency.
The cops won't even show up when he calls.. they just tell him to come to the station and file a report .

what if ? you were late to work because you had to take public transportation and on the way you got mugged and lost your wallet and phone then when you finally got to work you got fired for being late and then when you finally got home your house was empty and wrecked because you weren't there and while you were sitting there on the curb wondering what the fuck to do you saw a guy stealing the cat out of your neighbors car ?


I too probably wouldn't shoot someone or drag them to death over the cat ,but on that note once pushed to the edge I have been known to get a bit physical ..
