We got the insurance check from my wife's totaled Subaru a week ago. We looked at some replacements for her but prices are so high on everything. She agreed to drive my Santa Fe and I decided if I was going to pay premium prices I would get something I have wanted for a while. Found a 2018 F-150 with 30,000 miles. Unfortunately it is about 2 inches too tall to fit in the garage. Between my obsession with Jiujitsu and the big truck, my wife says I am having a mid-life crisis.

Tell your wife if it was a mid life crisis it would be something more like this in the driveway.  :D

At least now you have an excuse to buy a new house.

either that or spend the extra $$$$ on upgraded hail insurance.

Put an air suspension system on the truck so you can lower it to fit in the garage.

LOL, funny story. Yesterday We were running some errands. We went to the small local co-op store to get a few of the plant based items they carry that the regular grocery stores don't. I had my "Powered by Plants" t-shirt on. When we got there there was a Camry and 7 Subaru's in the parking lot, and my truck. I finished checking out along with a few other people. They all looked awfully confused/disappointed when they saw me go get into that truck. I guess I don't fit the stereotype of the skinny, Subaru driving, vegan.

Yeah I pretty much don't need a truck 350+ days of the year. The other times it is only to haul something that will fit in a short bed. If I need something bigger I have a 4*8 trailer. We also have a couple of 1T coal rollers at work, a car hauler flat bed and fully enclosed trailer I can use anytime I need.

Wish I could find a good used 6.5 or 8ft bed crew cab that didn't cost as much as new.
