They are working on an IPO
Is this going to be another case of

Get Woke, Go Broke

They are definitely disavowing some of their customers

I have never tried BRC myself

Quote"It's such a repugnant group of people."

The executives behind @blckriflecoffee, a coffee and lifestyle brand hugely popular with conservatives, has some choice words to describe part of its customer base. https://nytimes.com/2021/07/14/magazine/black-rifle-coffee-company.html">https://nytimes.com/2021/07/14/magazine ... mpany.html">https://nytimes.com/2021/07/14/magazine/black-rifle-coffee-company.html

I drink their coffee and have several of their shirts and hats.  Rally funny bunch of guys.  Matt Best, Jared Taylor, and Evan seem to be good people that are trying to make it big.
Do you know how hard it is to "make it big" with a Scary Ghost Gun on your company Label???
They don't even sell weapons, they get bombarded on a regular.

My source:  Different podcasts in which they participate.

I've been ordering coffee from these guys recently
I don't know anything about them
I suspect they are a husband a wife working out of a small industrial unit.
The coffee is good though

I like the list of places they donate to also

That's basically what that article was about
How hard it's going to be to have a successful IPO on Wall Street with a scary ghost gun on your label.

I've drank and supported BRCC for years.

After the Kyle Rittenhouse comments, I've taken a step back and reevaluated if there's another Veteran Owned coffee company that would appreciate my business. Turns out there is a local (to me) coffee roaster... https://hiddenhousecoffee.com/collections/coffee">https://hiddenhousecoffee.com/collections/coffee in Santa Ana, California. The owner is good friend of a friend. My wife can only drink certain kinds of coffee because many aggravate her stomach. These guys have a flavor Columbia Matambo that she REALLY likes. They roast right in their shop so you can see the magic if you're so inclined.

Anyway, I know the NYT is gonna butcher EVERYTHING a conservative says because #raycis ...but there weren't any words to mince in Kyle's situation. We can discuss if Kyle should have been there in the first place or not, that's fine, but, when push comes to shove and somebody is forced to make the decision to take a life in defense of their own, and do so effectively, efficiently, without harm to bystanders, they deserve a parade, a medal, and streets named after them - not ridicule. By all accounts, he dispached Joseph Rosenbaum (a registered sex offender) and Anthony Huber who has in impressive rap sheet that includes (but is not limted to Battery and strangulation - yeah model citizen... mmmm hmmmm :coffee: ). The guy shot in the arm, Gaige Grosskreutz a member of "People's Revolution Movement"... I say that because the left is all about attaching people the groups they are associated with... by some accounts he is a convicted felon... in posession of a firearm... also another felony.

All that said, BRCC could have retained customers had they either "no-comment" or said, we are waiting for this situation to be adjudicated before we make any judgements. he left hates 'em no matter what and were NEVER going to be their supporters, but they wouldn't have alienated a sizable portion of their base... like myself.

I don't drink coffee (can't have caffeine), but have enjoyed their videos.  If you watch what they actually said:
https://twitter.com/i/status/1330657893213986816">https://twitter.com/i/status/1330657893213986816

I think it's pretty solid.  They don't want their advertising on an open case involving a human death.  They didn't voice any opinion on the case or Rittenhouse's actions.  That's about as professional as you can get.  If that triggers you I think you've got issues.

personally, I think Rittenhouse is an American hero
The police and politicians had abandoned the cities to BLM and Antifa rioters
He put his life on the line to stop them... something our craven pols were not willing to do.

He reminds me of Koreans on Rooftops, a group that sprung out of the LA riots.
LA was burning, and the cops and National Guard had pulled out
The men of Korea Town choose to fight rather that allow their livelihoods to be destroyed
They armed themselves and manned the roofs of their businesses.
Their businesses were some of the few buildings standing when the smoke cleared
They would probably be prosecuted as terrorist today.

Quote...Kyle Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse shot three people in Kenosha, Wisconsin, killing two of them. His defense team believes he acted in self-defense and so do I. Please read this and understand. Upon leaving jail, Rittenhouse was photographed in a Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC) t-shirt. Evan Hafer released a video statement:

...in which he clarified that while Black Rifle believed "in the Constitution, the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms," and "that a person is innocent until proven guilty," the company didn't sponsor Rittenhouse; "we're not in the business of profiting from tragedy."

The proper response is "... are we applying every individual's behavior (good or otherwise) to the clothing manufacturer they are currently wearing?"

I can assure you Quicksilver (creators of the shirt and shorts I am wearing right now) would not even so much as acknowledge me dispatching a criminal thug that threatened my life while I'm wearing their gear. GUARANTEED!  Pretty sure the USC Trojan Football program hat I'm wearing would not acknowledge that either.

See how easy that is? :coffee:

Jared Taylor - in behalf of BRCC came out and said all that on a Podcast like 2 or 3 months ago.  They are a LONG ways from woke.  Maybe you could say trying to cater to a wider audience.  You can only blow up stuff and America Fuc Yeah for so long lol.  I get it, but you'll always have haters.  I still support them  Just my 2¢

The NY Times totally distorted BRCC values and beliefs.  Listen to the interview on Joe Rogan podcast.
It aired last Friday with Evan Hafer ( owner or BRCC).  People that hate on the MSM, let the media trick them into bullshit.
I've been a supporter of them for a long time and will continue.  He's hired over 200 veterans (from numerous ethnic groups) hence  him saying he has no room for racist customers.
Yet again, Fuck MSM

I'm not tossing or burning my BRCC gear. Just putting money into local veteran owned businesses whenever possible. There's a few roasts that I really like that are only available once in a while that I may still get. We'll see.

Still not cool with them backing away from Kyle though. That was a chicken scratch way to handle that.
