If you are unvaccinated you must quarantine if exposed; also the company won't pay for your quarantine time. You have to use personal time or take it as an excused absence.

that was the same policy wen i worked

Quote from: JParis post_id=14331 time=1628938260 user_id=139OK, I have been pondering on this and while it may have been previously asked, I'll ask it again...

I am playing devil's advocate here....

There are a bunch of "Mandated vaccines" already required to say, enroll a child in a public school? My granddaughter had to provide an immunization records to attend college....to travel, to join the military et al...

So on the "vaccine" being mandated, why the diff?

Assume for a second that FDA approves it in September....the it's "experimental" goes out the window....what then?

I consult with my physician and we determine the best course of meds for me.
Right now, it's a short term, approved for emergency only experimental vaccine that my physician recommends not for me.
If further trials and proof change her mind, then it's on the table. But based on my current health and labs, it's off.
That's science.

Saw a perfect meme the other day and I'll be damned if I can find it now.

"So if the vaccine works, then how come the vaccine doesn't work?"

We have a guy out for two weeks here at work. He's fully vaccinated and has covid.  He's doing ok, but feels like shit.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

And now you know why they came up with the "delta variant". To cover their asses and distribute more jabs so that Big Pharma can recoup their losses from the Trump administration.

"Since more than 338 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the USA, this data reflects a vaccination-death ratio of 0.0018%."

while that's a pretty low percentage , still US alone is 6000 plus

6,000 plus... in a nation of 350,000,000. Hmmmmm.

More people die in car accidents annually. 6x more people die annually in car accidents if we want to go for averages.

So...you are making a case for getting vaccinated?

Remember the death count for covid is 624K. Subtract those 6K and the number of deaths from covid for the un-vaccinated is still 618K.

The CDC's website says, 'Reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem. This is because the U.S. FDA requires healthcare providers to report any death after a COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS, even if it's unclear whether the vaccine was the cause.

Furthermore, anyone can submit a report to VAERS. Most VAERS reports are filed by healthcare professionals, vaccine manufacturers, and the general public. VAERS welcomes all reports, regardless of the seriousness or how likely the vaccine may have caused the adverse event.

So using the 624k and 350m number that means we have a covid death rate of 0.178%. I'll take my chances.

I think that we're supposed to be using the number of people who have caught the virus (37.3m) and not the total population of the US?

Still pretty low odds.
