Its interesting to see the infection rate vaccinated to unvaxed
lets look at canada, ontario province
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/covid-ontario-aug-24-2021-1.6151406">https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ ... -1.6151406">https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/covid-ontario-aug-24-2021-1.6151406

"Of the 434 cases today with a known vaccination status, 279 were people who haven't had a single shot. Another 41 cases were found in people who have had one vaccine, and a further 114 cases were found in fully vaccinated people."

Figure 6b. Fatalities among unvaccinated, partially vaccinated and breakthrough confirmed cases of COVID-19: Ontario, December 14, 2020 to
August 7, 2021
https://www.publichealthontario.ca/-/media/documents/ncov/epi/covid-19-epi-confirmed-cases-post-vaccination.pdf?la=en">https://www.publichealthontario.ca/-/me ... .pdf?la=en">https://www.publichealthontario.ca/-/media/documents/ncov/epi/covid-19-epi-confirmed-cases-post-vaccination.pdf?la=en

You can see the death rate in the fully vaxed is quite high.

This does not include deaths caused by the vaccine

it also says:

" Unvaccinated cases accounted for the majority (95.2%) of COVID-19 cases reported since
December 14, 2020 and up to August 7, 2021, with breakthrough cases accounted for only 0.6% "

Pay attention closely..            only 0.6% of all covid cases are  breakthrough but on the graph ithe deathrate among fully vaxed looks to be alarmingly high.

Seeing that the vaccine is new

One more reason why I don't feel the need to take the vaccine when the risk of Covid is so low, Cancer or other issues that could develop down the road. Look at all the times FDA approved drugs are found years later to cause cancer, Chantix, Omeprazole, etc. I strive to avoid all medication if possible. If there is not a substantial risk from not taking a med/vaccine, I will avoid it. I don't even like to take acetaminophen/ibuprofen.

I do take Motrin from time to time. Pretty much when the pain is so bad I can't see straight. I would say I probably average less than 900mg/mo. I know there's some issues with the liver if you take too much. I'm probably under that threshold and it's not something I take on a regular basis. I need something for the pain management when I can't get to the Acupuncturist right away.

And I take eye drops for glaucoma.
That's it.

Most of the pain I deal with is self induced from BJJ/MMA. For that reason I usually don't take anything for it. I kind of feel like it's the price I have to pay if I go too hard at the gym. If I lived in Cali or another weed friendly state I would probably pick up some THC gummies for muscle/joint pain. I have a few BJJ friends that swear by THC for after training muscle relief. I just can't because I tell my adult kids they can't because it's illegal here. Can't be a hypocrite and all. I have heard very mixed reviews of CBD for muscle/joint pain relief. Some say it is great, others say it is worthless.

That's what they say is max per day

I was taking 2 Aleve twice a day for years for some serious arthritis and a degenerative back issue...after seeing a cardiologist earlier this year, he suggested to taper back or even off if I could...but if not, do what I could to cut back...

By the end of April I was off it completely...

This morning I was tempted to take some Advil, but I figured I would see how the day plays out. Pic below is from BJJ last night. In addition to that nice patch of bruising on my left arm, my right knee is little swollen and sore. I took the day off from working out today to recover. Tomorrow have another 2 hours of BJJ.

I can't take ibuprofen or Aleve. Messes my stomach up too badly. I have to stick with acetaminophen. It can cause liver problems but you have to take a lot.

So we are seeing an upwards trend in new cases here in MN. The graph below shows the trend that is very similar to the wave earlier this year. The one big difference, earlier this year we were still under restrictions; masks, reduced capacities, etc. In July everything opened up and the restrictions went away. The trends are virtually the same. We do have very high vax rates, which could be keeping the current wave a little slower. It could also be that the restrictions really didn't do a whole lot to slow down the spread.
