And this one is for Del.

Last time I was in Cali, My Ex-Wife(Go Figure) and I would head out for a weekend Expedition.
Always stopped at Western Bagel.

They have The Best "Onion Bagels"

Here is the recipe. For "Pinwheels"

Onion Bagel, Chive and Onion cream cheese, Toast the Bagel and spread a large amount of cream cheese. apply 3 or 4 baconstrips,
apply lettuce, tomato, onion and half an Avocado in slices. serve open faced. The avocado should be properly set on top directionally.
Hence the "Pin wheel" .

Could be all the onion that sent my ex-wife packin'.

I don't care.

Surprise your wife with one of these. I got laid alot but she wouldn't kiss me.

I didn't care.

I made my daughter, who is not vegan, a BLT using the "bacon" in the picture. She ate the whole sandwich before I told her it wasn't real bacon and she said she couldn't tell the difference. The brand in the pic has no chemicals or preservatives. It has no cholesterol or saturated fat. On a sandwich it tastes and crunches just like bacon. For anyone that your doctor has said you need watch your intake, I would recommend this as substitute.

OK, that looks interesting to me - what would be a good substitute for the mayo on a BLT?

There are vegan types of mayo. We buy the one below. Again, no preservatives, no cholesterol, or saturated fats. However the main ingredient is oil so there is still a bit mono and poly fats. Definitely better for you than regular mayo. Hellman's also has a decent vegan mayo but it is hard to find around here.

Thanks, I'll look for the Hellman's or the one you showed above.

If you like garlic, make yourself some toum...

It's a slow, time consuming process, one my wife makes me do in the garage, but it's sooooooo good. But again, you must really like garlic.
