Doing it because you want to and forcing small businesses to pay OT after 32 hours/week is a whole different thing
I doubt they can get this passed into law, but it would bury a lot of small businesses if they did make it law.

Of course my congress critter is a life long public employee who's spent his entire working life feeding at the public trough. He is incapable of understanding what it takes to run a small business

I was being sarcastic, but the theory behind what Bob is doing is sound.  

Reading the article that was posted, they sound like they read an article somewhere, didn't understand it, and decided that making it a law would be a great idea.
