It works pretty slick. It creates the bolt hole clearance for the bolt diameter and the head on the top part and then creates the tap minor diameter for the threads on the bottom.   You can create your own custom processes with different clearance sizes etc or  you can work with their standard library.  If you want to develop your own I *believe* that you have to upgrade to Design Pro. Once you're assemblies are done, you can print out a BOM that gives you a list of hardware used that can get as in depth as you want it to.

If you use TS for machining, the design intent follows you in to the machining side of the software so it automagically knows what size drills, taps, etc to choose to machine the parts. That's another subject.

I'm sure that SolidWorks has something similar for design though I've never used it. I only have the basic license.

You can do the same kind of generating solids at coordinates in Mastercam as you can in solidworks, I spent all day creating a demo for x9 as a proof of concept.

That's definitely something I could use. What C-hook were you using?

^ I used this c-hook in the video, It costs 50 USD on my store if you are interested!  :D

You also had a point, most of the functionality I use in my products has been around since the inception of X.
I like to think I add something to the mix tho!!
