Mastercam V9

This morning I opened an old Mastercam V9 mill file in MC2021
It opened OK, but all the text in the level manager was in Japanese
I figured this was a bug so I opened it in V9 and OMG!!!!
How did we ever get anything done back then???
We do not realize how good we've got it compared to the good old days  
I felt like a caveman trying to start a fire by banging 2 rocks together.
The text in the Level Manager was in English in V9 so I tried opening it
in MC2017 and it opened correctly

I went back to X7 a few weeks back to look at a file and I felt lost. V9....not happening! Although I still have the original V9 box, books and install discs!

i have a V7 dongle the shop uses it for engraving programs, every once in awhile they will ask how to do something and it's a struggle

Still have V9??? I wish I did.

I have X6. Still need to grab files from there on occasion, just select and open in 2021. Also have MC2018 thru 2021.

If you are on a nethasp, you can install and run V9
I have not messed with it enough to know if there are video issues with modern video cards
