Quote from: YoDoug post_id=16537 time=1633103557 user_id=58I'll take some this weekend.

I have also gotten about 15 hours of tattoo work done in the last 2 months. Still probably have about 10-15 hours to finish to go to my left arm.

Thats lit af, I think I will get a tattoo soon, I only have one I got it ten years ago in mass, its a skull that says live free or die on it and it has a maple leaf and a fleur de lis in each eye and horns

Needs some touchup on the upper arm and only had 1 session so far on the lower arm.

I wanted to give you the flip off emoji but congrats.

I think that Incog has a tat on his penis that say's "hi".  That's all he could fit on there.

How is everybody dealing with the state of things, vacation plans?

Going down to Panama City Beach in 3 weeks for a week of rest and relaxation - and many adult beverages :D

What's your drink of choice?

Normally I'll stay away from the booze until afternoon.  I like to spend a couple hours in the water, have lunch, then come afternoon I tend to sample local margarita's and enjoy some cheap mixed drinks & beer at the hotel's tiki bar while kicking back watching the beach.  I try to do nothing too crazy since the goal is to unwind, clear my head, and get some quality time with the wife away from work.

I have pretty much given up alcohol. I had a drink on my birthday (8/18) and a couple drinks on labor day weekend. Other than that nothing since the beginning of August. I really don't miss it and feel much better. More energy and I can eat more calories and still maintain weight.

It's really difficult to argue with that logic.

I have also given up alcohol for the most part, with the exception of a few parties here and there.
With the roll-out of the vaccine passports I am also theoretically barred from all entertainment establishments so that's another reason I don't drink much no bars and clubs allowed for the unvaxxed!

Technically all alcohol is vegan. Some additives in wine are animal products, but just about everything else is vegan. It is not healthy though. I used to just consider alcohol empty calories, meaning it was just fat I would have to burn off in the gym. However there has been a lot of studies revealing the link between cancer and alcohol. I saw one that claimed 1 in 20 cancer deaths can be directly attributed to alcohol consumption. For me the decision to give up alcohol was part of my desire for optimum health.
