Anyone else watching?? Don't spoil!!

Think I'm on Episode 6 just started. Love the Characters. The voiceover reminds me a little of the Old .....Yes Old Godzilla movies.

Cast is pretty cool, good picks for the good guys and Bad Guys....Or Girls.

One of the girls reminds me of my Ex when I met her and the other reminds me of one when I left.

Yeah, the wife and I caught 3 episodes on Saturday. Honestly did not see the appeal. Did not see the "why" of the killing but maybe that will come out further along. The fact that this show has huge appeal is kinda scary all by itself. Looks like something the Dems would like to do to Trump supporters.

I saw an ad for that on Netflix and thought it was the dumbest thing ever.  :huh:

But having read this thread, and you guys are saying its a real thing and worth watching, I may just check it out.  :w00t:

The wife likes it.
I watched a total of 20 minutes maybe.

I'm not much into game shows.
I have read that it is on track to be Netflix's biggest hit yet

My wife's go too right now is re-runs of Murder She Wrote...so I think that Squid Game will be a non-starter for her.

With out spoiling "Marbles" was just fucked up.

You really need to go back to your childhood games.

"Tug of war' is my fav so far.

OK I checked out the first episode last night.
A little slow going in developing the story, but interesting enough.

Then I watched the 2nd episode.
I don't know if it is the bad acting, the voiceovers, or the schmaltzy plot, but I like it!  :cheers:  :lol:

That's what I thought too, but it's not really a 'game show' as we would normally think of it.
The 'contest' is only part of the story.

The majority of the story is about how and why the 'contestants' got there.
It's kinda dark and twisted, but fun in a creepy sort of way.  :lol:

He could start and lead a wonderful story ,But his endings always Lacked.

I mean Give me an ending he ever really stuck it?

Finally sat down to watch the first episode last night. Was totally bored the first half and was like, 'Why do people like this?'. Then the magic happened, if I didn't have to drive 7 hours this morning I would have stayed up all night to finish it.

Never seen GoT but it definitely has a Hunger Games feel.

Thumbs up so far!
