Man, it was rough watching the prosecution's closing arguments and the spin they were putting on everything.

This is why I hate our legal system.  It's not about finding the truth necessarily. It's about who can be more convincing to the jury.  

It shouldn't be that way.

If that's the case they should be relieved of their duties. Their job is to make a decision based on the trial, not worry about the what-ifs because a bunch of whiny losers are protesting.

if that kind of information is getting out of the jury room, the jury should be dismissed and the judge should declare a mistrial...

New motion for mistrial w/prejudice was filed yesterday.

When the defense was playing the drone video in court and the judge couldn't see what they were talking about, prosecutor Fatlock said, our version of the vid is better. They proceeded to play the same vid but in HD.

The state had never turned over the HD video to the defense.

I don't get how the protestors both for and against Kyle are allowed that close to the courthouse.  If reports are true and they can be heard inside the courthouse, and it was reported that some of the protestors have said they are there to influence the outcome.  How is this not considered jury tampering?

1st Amendment. They have a right to assemble.

While I'm kinda a 1A absolutist, I would probably support limiting access to a court house the same way we limit it at a polling place during voting.

1st Amendment rights are not unlimited. If they are impeding someone from their right to a fair trial of a jury by their peers then there is absolutely a limit.

IMO, this is when a judge should consider a mistrial. However, it can go the other way too. The NY mobs were notorious for jury tampering and did it in hopes to get a hung jury or a mistrial.

I am not saying they can't assemble, but if they have bullhorns they have to be far enough away from the courthouse that the jury cannot hear them.  I am not saying disperse the crowd I am saying remove bullhorns or move crowd back.  They can protest all they want, but they should not be allowed to interfere with a trial where someone else's possibility of losing their rights is involved.

That is what the left is and has been doing claiming foul for actions other all the while being the worst at pushing their agenda and direction. Right is not far behind and if you dare have morals, values and can think for yourself then you just enemy number one.
