The 1-4-2022 deadline gives me more options. I'm currently doing research for where I want to transfer my 401k funds to add a buffer zone from .gov.

Transfer to Del's Retirement

That's really a good idea. I can get in on the ground floor and get tenfold what I have in there now!

If they agree with this mandate then they should opt themselves in.  I'm sure that they could get the votes?

When you mandate something that your representatives are mandated from you can see why people would say f-you.

Tim, does your shop have over 100 employees?

Depending on the cost/pain in the ass factor of testing, my wife might quit her job come Jan.

Commander Incontinent and his Whore VP can stick that EO where the sun don't shine. I'm DEFINITELY not getting it now, not that I was even contemplating it, but now it's definitely over my dead body and take away my ability to earn a living, well... we'll just see about that.

Is the place you're working for even considering enforcing it?

We haven't heard anything regarding enforcement. My company DEFINITELY does not want to force this issue, that much I do know.

I wonder you are forced to get the jab and have an adverse reaction can you sue the government? Biden himself? How about your employer? Pfizer, Moderna or J&J? I'm sure the answer is no. Take the experimental shot and if it goes South tough chit.

On this campus I'm guessing we have 400+ employees. We have 47 people in our machine shop. I'll be able to retire on December 19th. I'm not physically ready to retire and there's almost two months for law suits to go through their processes but I'm preparing for retirement and will be ready if the shit hits the fans.

Policy came out today. My company will NOT require vaccination and will allow for weekly testing. They are reviewing testing methods  available to minimize the impact and cost.

My company is AWESOME!

As I hear about how various companies are handling things, it seems like there are 3 main camps; 1) Companies just following what they think the orders are, and DGAF about their employees well being, 2) Those that care about their employees and their well being and are giving them every option available even if it means more paperwork/processes for the company, and 3) Those that just want to fly under the radar and are going to ignore Commander Incontinence and his rail car packing sycophants.

So far, even our Federal customers have a testing option. They require PPE, but are not limiting entrance based on COVID not-a-vax status.

No you cannot. Commander Incontinence has shielded and protected the Fed from any and all liability.

Quote from: BrianP. post_id=18095 time=1636127325 user_id=71How about your employer?

He did NOT protect employers. So, if your employer is essentially forcing you to take this not-a-vax, not giving you any way out, you NEED to express that you are taking the job under duress and under threat of loss of job, income, means ot provide ofr your family, etc...Sign it. Have them sign it. Regardless if they sign it or not, have them put that statement in your employee record. Then, should anything negative happen, sue the daylights out of the company, owners, etc... Perhaps if enough elect to have that in their employee records, that may cause them to pause and allow for the other options (testing, PPE requirements, etc...)

QuoteThe Los Angeles Fire Department is investigating an incident in which a firefighter "responded inappropriately" after being handed a letter to comply with the city's vaccine mandate, a department spokeswoman said Wednesday.

The LAFD member responded to receiving the noncompliance letter by dropping his pants and wiping his buttocks with the letter, leaving fecal matter on the document, before dropping it to the ground, according to the Stentorians of Los Angeles City, a group representing African American firefighters.
