Yep.
Add Vitamin D3 to that list as well.
Those are the 3 things they gave me when I was in the hospital, and they also gave me to take home.

I still think ALL of the testing is wonky based on my own experience, but ANY positive test is worth double checking, especially before returning to work.

Pretty sure it was (1) 1,000 IU tablet per day.
If you are over 50, that's a fairly common dose to help boost your immune system.

I think the soft-gel ones you can buy over the counter are around 400 to 1,000 IU, so that's a pretty safe range.

I take 2,000 IU D3 three times a day, 50mg zinc once a day, 1000 mg vitamin C three times a day and 200 mcg selenium once a day as far as Covid is concerned.

Just got back to work today. Still a little run down but overall not bad. It's been like a bad cold. Wife and daughter both tested positive last week. Luckily it seems to have skipped my 89 year old dad who lives with us. The worst thing is that it really seems to kill your appetite.

Overheard a lady at CVS talking to pharmacists saying her brother got covid and is now in an induced coma with an oxygen level in the 40's. Doesn't sound good. It's like Russian roulette. Most survive, some die. Most get mildly or moderately sick, some get seriously ill.

I would personally take no more than 25mg of zinc daily, Tim. 40mg a day is the max recommended and you get plenty of zinc from meats, poultry, and fish.

The typical dosage of zinc is packaged at 50mg for men and 35mg for women. I've been taking zinc for at least 15 years. It also keeps the ball sack full.  :D

Yeah, not much appetite here as well. It's slowly coming back the last day or so.

Killing my appetite is about the only thing that I'd welcome.

I'm staying as far away from that test as I can. That's one list I don't want to be on positive on not.
