PCR or any of the others?
Does this make me a luddite?
:D

You are not the only one.

I only took the test because my wife got Covid and moderate flu symptoms. I took three PCR tests during that two week quarantine and all came back negative.

I was surprised that I didn't get a positive. I didn't do anything to keep away from my wife while she had Covid. We sat and watched TV everyday, slept next to each other, cooked together, etc. We didn't try to disinfect everything or any other measures. I didn't have any symptoms though so I guess my immune system did it's job. My 19 yo daughter also tested positive at the same time and had what seemed like a mild cold for a few days.

Well at least you know.
Also, a positive test opens the door to treatment, so if your symptoms get worse you can call your doctor or go to the ER.

If you have not had any symptoms, there is no real reason to be tested.
I didn't get tested until I had symptoms, and that wasn't until September 2021.

If you and your Mrs. have eluded the bug up until now, good for you.

We were just told that one employee is out and tested positive and another is out, feeling sick, and waiting on test results. They were both at PRI show last week so they have had minimal exposure in the shop/office here.

My doctor said he could offer me monoclonal antibodies if needed.  I declined.  Today is one week since I got sick and I'm still feeling pretty good.

Must be nice, Fauci's paid-for Wuhan bug kicked my ass. Still have antibodies 11 months later.

That is definitely the best treatment available.
But if your symptoms are still fairly mild after a week you might be good to go.

Just curious if your doctor asked you if you were vaccinated, or would you want to be after having had the virus.

We only messaged through the portal, but he didn't say anything about vaccination.  I was just in for my yearly physical in Oct. He knew then that I  wasn't vaxxed, but he recommended that I get it.

7 to 10 days is a key duration, so I've read. After 10 days, you're pretty much good to go. On rarer (but not that rare) instances, covid symptoms stay mild or moderate then turn for the worse. Some end up dying after having mild illness the 1st week to 10 days. That's why 10 days is used.

One week is good. Odds are overwhelming you have nothing to worry about.

How are you testing....and are you doing it regular to ensure you have the antibodies?

Just the one recently when I thought I could use it as leverage against the BS vax mandates.

one of our owners that has all three jabs now has Covid, had fever, headache, body aches, etc.... so now more people at our facility who are vaccinated have contracted covid then our non-vaxx...
