Dems quiet after Trump brokers Peace Deal. Instead they just cuss and scream.
I guess they really didn't care that much about Palestine children dying. What a bunch of morons except for Fetterman.

Uh, sorry dude, taking the wait and see approach here.  One, because drumpf said it, so that automatically requires reality to confirm or negate.  But the other two parties involved aren't really known for doing what they say they're going to do and sticking to it either.  So if hostages are released, and Israel withdraws, and Hamas doesn't blow anything else up either, then we can all jump for joy and peace on earth, good will to men.  And then wonder why it took two years, and realize it was just Israel being pariah apartheid nation-state waging genocide and hoping we were all distracted by Putin playing Attila in Ukraine.

How can you never forget January 6 but October 7 seems to mean nothing to you.

The most obvious is that I'm American, and we're really bad at giving a shit about international events.  I'll admit I had to take a quick reference before I typed "two years" to make sure it wasn't only one.  But really because Jan.6 was shocking, and while Oct.7 was a surprise attack can anyone really say they're surprised to see Hamas do what Hamas has done for decades.  In any case, I'm glad to have you conflate the two events as deserving of similar outrage against two terrorist acts.

So you would be content if the war just continued?

He said Americans were bad about giving a shit about international events. I took it as he felt the same is which why I asked the question. Seems reasonable to me.

I'm not sure if you're confused on purpose, or just to confuse beej.
I don't think my opinion matters much one way or another to either Hamas or Israel, so I just try to be content with the 6-pack in front of me (no not my abs - Ha!) and tell you a little joke someone told me 25 years ago.  Not much has changed, so it's still relevant.

Guy finds a lantern, ya know, the kind with a genie in it.  Genie floats out, says "Hello, it's your lucky day, but don't get your hopes up about three wishes 'cause I'm like nine hundred years old and I wanna get back in there and take a nap.  You get one.  And don't pull any stupid shit like wishing for unlimited wishes; you get ONE."
Guy says "Awesome, ya know, I've always wanted to go to Hawaii, but I'm deathly afraid of airplanes over water, and I get seasick so I can't take a cruise there.  If you could build a bridge that would be a dream-come-true."
Genie gets red in the face, stomps around, mumbling about logistics, thousands of miles, conjuring that much concrete, how deep the pillars need to be, if sections could be floating... Turns to the guy and says.  "No.  That's just too much.  Did you not hear me say I'm nine hundred years old and need a nap?!?  Do you have anything else?"
Guy says "Fine, I'll take the selfless option.  I wish for peace in the Middle East."
Genie spins "What?!?  Those guys have been at it since before I was born!  You think one genie can just put a stop to it?!?   So...  How many lanes you want on that f---ing bridge?"

How long has Israel and Egypt been at peace now since their agreement.

Anwar Sadat sure paid a heavy price for that.

This is not a peace settlement
As long as there is a Palestine and an Israel there will be another war
Bibi saw that clearly and did his best to end Palestine.
He got a good start, but was prevented from finishing the job.
The Palestinians are already gearing up for the next round

QuoteAmid all this good feeling, there is just one group that doesn't seem all that excited about peace. They're excited, all right, but not because the war between Hamas and Israel is over, at least for the moment. That group is the Gazans, or at least some of them. One group of Gazans was captured on video chanting "Khaybar, Khaybar, ya Yahood, jaish Muhammad sa yaoud." That is, "Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, the army of Muhammad will return."

Israel is going to have 200 years of terrorism on their hands after this
