they (Haas) are still new to the pallet pool software game.. creating every possible scenario in testing is more difficult than one would think.

Agreed. Though Haas (or any machine tool mfg) keeping a potentially catastrophic bug under wraps is unforgivable.

Under wraps... yeah, that is not a good look for any builder. 

It's a fine line though and I get it from their perspective. A builder may not want to "advertise" that "hey we have a software bug" because competitors WILL capitalize on it, however, what I would find disturbing would be when you identify something to the factory, then they act like "no, there's nonproblem, it's you..." that... completely unconscionable and would have severe future purchasing implications because at rhat point, youncan't trust your manufacturing partner.
