Technocrats will always protect and espouse what makes their keep. He is the literal OG of digital currency with PayPal, and if he has unrestrained power to make sweeping changes, or influence those who can, we will see a dramatic change in what ID and currency means in the US.

Young people laugh at physical wallets now, pulling a card out instead a phone to pay means you're old and undateable to a 25 year old girl (not that I'm even trying, but it somehow still stings). Everyone was harshing on millennials some time ago, we should have been more worried about what was on the horizon. Whoever raised gen-z to literally not give one single shit about privacy or digital rights can suck a big scholongarouski from the back. They deserve to, and will, rot under the thumb of VR Dogecoin Prime Bigger-Than-Before Tech.

Ironically, I don't think Trump wins without their votes.

Absolute agreement, the young part of the scale appears to have tipped massively in his favour. The left needs to re-evaluate, wholesale. Will they jostle awake to that fact? We shall see.

Our youngest... he's 20. We were talking yesterday evening and I asked about his take on the electoral results. He seemed a but puzzled by the question  so I elaborated a bit. I'd read in several places overall his generation voted for Trump about 52-ish% vs. Kamala's 45-ish%. He said "most" of his friends voted Trump because they "...just could not trust Kamala."

Ouch. They found a "convicted felon" more trustworthy than Harris.

I meant to ask about his alphabet people friends... where were they at? I'll ask tonight.

The last 4 years have been a dumpster fire. Culturally.  Socially. Economically. Globally. 100% of it has been driven by the leftist elites.

Max Levchin, Peter Thiel, and Luke Nosek might have something to say about that, but I agree with your drift!

Not likely.

As long as the mainstream media remains as the mouthpiece for the Democratic party, NOTHING will change.

It will be up to those mega-corporations like Paramount, Time Warner, Disney, etc, which own those major media outlets to rein them in and start holding them accountable for all of the propaganda they are pushing and have been pushing for decades.

It's also a staggering bit of irony that the evil, greedy mega-corporations that the Dems and the mainstream media love to vilify so much are actually the ones who sign their paychecks.

Anyone with a brain knows that was a politically motivated hit job.
A trial for fraud, where there were no complainants, no one lost any money
and 2 different Federal prosecutors declined to prosecute.... and an "unbiased, impartial" jury
convicted on 34 separate counts after an hour's deliberation.
They spent longer reading the verdicts than they did deliberating the "charges".

However, Trump is a convicted felon, no matter how unjust the trial
and he is scheduled for sentencing 11/26/24.
It will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Incog's girlfriend Rachel Maddow (  ;D  ) ranted the other day about the media being the fourth estate.
She went on and on. She actually believes the media is the 4th branch of government.
Well she's kind of right in the sense that they just push one narrative and agenda day after day and go un-checked with the lies. Yes, yes freedom of speech and all of that but they cannot be allowed to call themselves an actual news network when all they do is spew opinions.
