Curious to see what people think - what would constitute a "mass deportation" and what will this look like if they are able to accomplish it.

I'd ask what the projected back lash (economy etc) would be but that can be another topic.

Even if they just close the flow over the border and don't really hit big numbers on deportation we will still be much better off.

I'm guessing it will be 1-5 million, hopefully more.  But I think the 1-5 is a reasonable guess.  Begin with criminals in our prisons, make good on the more than 1 million active deportation orders and we are off to a good start.  From there get them out as you find them, not necessarily going door to door except as a last resort.

10 million plus baby! Kick 'em all out!

So, Neuro, when are you going to start the thread on the economic impact of doing so?

Hard to say since none of us here have access to that kind of data.
A lot of companies give agricultural visas for seasonal harvesting so they shouldn't be affected if at all.

Trump stated clearly throughout his campaign that the illegal immigrants who committed additional crimes after illegally crossing the border would be the priority for deportation.

Tom Homan has since reiterated that position since Trump was elected and gave him the task of finding these violent criminals and deporting them.

This is NOT racially motivated, despite what the media will keep insisting.
These are violent felons who have committed murders, rapes, robberies, etc. who need to be removed from our society, especially since they came here illegally in the first place.
They are out, no questions asked.

So yeah, 1 to 5 million is a realistic expectation IMO.

If they can weed out the most violent offenders first, after that it's not unreasonable to treat other people whose ONLY crime was illegally crossing the border a little bit differently, and possibly even giving them a path toward citizenship in some form.

And btw...if we are going to study the economic impact of deporting all of these illegals, let's also consider the economic impact of having them come here illegally in the first place.

I can't prove it, but I believe a lot of those companies, I could use the apple growers of Washington State as an example, have some employees of questionable immigration status.

Giving them phones so they can use that convenient app to get in illegally.

Oh I'm sure there are a lot that knowingly use illegals for cheap labor.
Target everyone especially if they're suspect.
The libtards will cry "profiling" but fuck 'em that's the only way to sift thru the shit.

It's not hard to say what you and Bucky will say, all one has to do is think to themselves what is the dumbest, most asinine comment I can make and boom your post content just writes itself...

He (Trump) was also going on about deporting/revoking Temporary Protected Status immigrants. I don't know if that was just talk during the "they're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats" news cycle. The Haiti issue gets a little more complex than my understanding of merely deporting people with Temporary Protected Status so I'd have to read more in to it.  I have read that it's being taken advantage of and the Haitians were unlucky enough to have the spot light shined on them.  That is definitely that needs to be figured out.

These guys get in to it with Matt Walsh over the US interventions in Haiti and it's something I never see taken in to consideration during arm chair political debates. The Haitian discussion starts about 8 minutes in.

plus another plug for Matt Wash's Am I Racist movie.
