President-elect Donald Trump continued to weigh in on criticism for California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom for mismanagement leading to the ongoing deadly Los Angeles-area wildfires saying the "ultimate price is being paid" for an "incompetent governor."

"Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way," Trump wrote in a scathing Truth Social rebuke. "He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt, by giving it less water (it didn't work!), but didn't care about the people of California.""

I asked what the "water restoration declaration" was and you immediately went in to defense mode acting like I was trying to trap you yet the quote came from your own link.

I went on to ask more questions later that had nothing to do with this but... uh..    lol.

Americans are dumb. We build in places that get hit by natural disasters (like places where fires have traditionally ravaged hillsides) and then act surprised and blame it on climate change when it burns down. Or build a city, below sea level, on a coast that is prone to hurricanes. Act surprised and blame climate change when it floods. Rebuild, rinse, repeat.

Sure, those fire or floods may only happen every 100 years of so, but simple fact is they will happen. We are retards at managing resources, whether it be storing water, harvesting timber, or zoning places that will eventually burn.

You can build a house anywhere, doesn't mean you should do it though.

And we build houses NEXT TO AIRPORTS that have been there 50+ years and complain about the noise.

When this conversation started I was curious as to what this "water restoration declaration" was and whether or not it was just some nonsense talking point. It was a legit question and I had to look it up for myself.

That's when I came up with the executive order I posted earlier and the other information regarding the attempt to refill depleted water supplies. 

And look, I still don't know much about this. I don't live in Cali so I'm just reading what I can and trying to be careful not to fall in to the sock puppet regurgitate misinformation trap. It doesn't do anyone any good to be lied to, right? Well, unless  you're just trying to push a narrative?
