A few other billionaires have joined him in those threats. IMO, that is one of the biggest things I like about him. The R party is filled with RINOs that get their power and from opposing real conservatism from the R party. They are part of the swamp and are just fine with all the fraud and corruption as long as it favors their friends and investments.

Quote from: Jeff on February 13, 2025, 07:52 AMThat abomination shouldn't be called a Mustang. Ford should be embarrassed.

We did work on that thing here in the shop. At the time it was all top secret, as to what it looked like and they weren't even calling it the Mach E at first. I think they were calling it the Mach2 then. We knew it was some form of a new Mustang. We had visions in our mind as to what this thing was going to look like. It was so disappointing to finally see what the final product looked like.

Do you deny you support intentional lying and disinformation/misinformation as free speech on any social media platform regardless of the negative impact it has on the Jeffs and Bobs ability to vote like an intelligent, well informed citizen of this country?

You answer yes or no first. Because we need to know that before further conversation can be meaningful. :)

Swerve. Typical liberal response, I called you out with facts so you swerve.

Don't be a Jeff or Bob.

We're laying groundwork for context so we can have a better conservation than the typical doug "gotcha" conversation that you prefer.

Republicans don't like context do they? :)

Just the way government was meant to work? If you can't beat em, buy em?

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

They are more than embarrassed, they are giving them away for a song because no one is buying them

No it shouldn't, but the corruption is so deep it gonna take someone with big reach to take it on.

Quote from: neurosis on February 13, 2025, 07:23 AMI read yesterday that SpaceX recently secured a $38.85 million research contract?

Looking into it that isn't a new contract, it was started in May of 2020 and goes to Dec 2027. That was just a payment, mayhaps a payment to get the astronauts that are stuck up there? I'm not sure at this point. Since its description says "work required for the design, development, manufacture, test, launch, demonstration, and engineering support of the human landing system integrated lander".

Trump administration set to purchase $400 million worth of armored Teslas

QuoteThe lucrative contract — which is projected to be awarded in September — published on the State Department's website last year in accordance with transparency laws aimed at boosting competition in the government's procurement process and was amended Wednesday to remove Tesla as a manufacturer.

Remind me... Who was in charge of the State Department last year?
