Quote from: beej on March 26, 2025, 09:05 AM8The point is that the information should not have been suppressed. Because some government agency didn't like the information. And there should be bipartisan support for this because I don't want democrats controlling information and I know that other's don't want republicans controlling information.

Let's dig a little deeper to see if we can find more. :)

Do you also believe that "with great power comes great responsibility" is a good philosophy?

News like 7 million people died worldwide because some clown walked out of a secure Chinese biolab with goo on his shoe
is the kind of info that starts revolutions and brings down governments

You're still going on about this?

I was asking if the NY Times releasing an article saying that it's been proven was true, not whether or not the lab leak theory was true

And no, they didn't. It was an oped.

Quote from: neurosis on March 26, 2025, 08:27 AM...I'm not saying that it did, or didn't. I'm just saying that I haven't seen anyone say that it's been definitely proven.

The only way for it to be proven is for China to say, yeah... Well... Fuck... We did it.

Do you expect that to happen anytime soon?

In the meantime, you could always just ask Jon Stewart...

No. That's why I wouldn't expect any reputable paper or news outlet to be posting articles saying that it has been definitively proven.
