I really like Billy Bob Thornton as an actor, and this was a great role for him.

Having said that, the series takes some weird turns, but overall you should like it.

I liked the show when it first came out, well written, well acted and quirky.

It's been awhile since the series debuted so this shouldn't be a spoiler. At the end of season 2 where they show the guy lying on a bed with no arms or legs was when my wife said no more. She had nightmares about that for a long time.

I'm 5 episodes into season 1 and am really enjoying it so far. Billy Bob Thornton is the perfect actor for that part too.

And I quit reading @pmartin post before the spoiler he was speaking of.  :harhar:

Watched " Don't look Up". Very interesting how people react to end of the world. Pegs us perfectly.

A Million Miles Away on Prime is excellent. About a migrant farm worker who becomes an astronaut and flies in the space shuttle. True story. Took 12 tries and 30 years applying to NASA.

That was one of the stupidest movies I have ever seen. In my opinion of course.

Yeah it kinda was but I was referring to how people react differently to seeing the same thing like with todays current events.

I think people see what they expect to see and will twist reality and circumstances to see it.

We started watching 'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' on Apple+.

The monster genre is more my wifey's thing, but after watching the first episode with her, this looks pretty good.

Watching 24.

Still seems fresh too. Many of the landmarks they used are still around too.

He was on a Podcast I listen to. He NEVER once blamed his ethnicity on why he wasn't chosen. After the 3rd (IIRC) try he began to ask himself, "What experience do they have that I don't?" and proceeded to get his pilot's license, dive certication, learned Russian, etc....

Fantastic movie and amazing life story. And that teacher that took the time to explain how detrimental their lifestyle was to the kids' education in a meaningful way.

Definitely a must see film.

Um...read the title ;)

Seriosly it is a Sci-Fi story where a woman is contacted by an alternate existence version of her husband enlisting her aide. I won't say more except to say that it has probably the funniest fight scene ever.
