What Would You Think?

OK so I was at work on Tuesday and my Mrs. sends me a text saying she is out shopping and asks if I need anything.
Knowing there was a Penguins game on tv that night, I was kinda thinking the beer fridge was getting a little sparse, so I told her I could probably use a case of beer as long as she was asking.

I get home, open the fridge, and sure enough, a nice cold case of 16 ouncers was sitting there waiting for me.  

Problem is, she never buys me 16 ouncers, always 12 ouncers.  

So the suspicious part of me starts thinking...
Did she do that just because she really loves me, or is she angling for sumfin' big?  

That was two days ago, and she hasn't mentioned buying anything new, so now I'm still wondering...

What would you guys think?

LOL...yeah that would be a perfectly reasonable suspicion.

However, I didn't mention that my Mrs. rarely drinks beer.  
She likes those hard seltzer thingys, and there was also a new 12-pack of those in the fridge as well, so the beer was definitely all for me.

My working theory is that maybe she figures if I get drunk and pass out during the game, I won't be yelling at the refs and coaches as much.

then again, maybe she bought for the boyfriend that comes over after you go to work

I would think that the 16s were cheaper than the 12s, so she got them "on sale".

We have a bar near here where the 16oz cans are $2.25, and the 12oz are $2.50.  needless to say we don't tend to drink 12s there

Wow that's weird.  :huh:
No, I'm sure where I buy my beer by the case that a 24-pack of 16's is at least $6-$7 more than 12's.
I suppose it's possible, but the guy who runs our local beer distributor is a cheap bastid, so nothing is ever 'on sale'.

Yeah that's why I started the thread, just to have a bit of fun.
She really does take good care of me!  

We have our 39th Anniversary coming up in May, so at this point we are definitely stuck with each other!

I haven't really been following sports at all, but every time I look at scores the Red Wings seems to be doing... ok.

The Tigers on the other hand, all I see is them losing.

Can't say I blame you.
I gave up on the NBA and NFL altogether, but still following the NHL.

The Wings and Blue Jackets have both had a dreadful season that I'm sure they will want to forget.
The only question is which one of the two will finish dead last in their division.

As for baseball, meh Mets started pretty decently and are playing .500 ball at the moment, but we've had alot of good starts to a season, and very few good finishes.  :huh:  :p
