I quit Fox News after they called Arizona for Biden 5 minutes after the polls closed in 2020
That stank like 3 day old mackerel and  smelled like a fix.
We'll never know how many voters standing in line after the polls closed walked away without voting
after hearing that
In reality Biden "won" Arizona by 10,470 votes with 60K+ ineligible votes being found in the
recount ordered by the Arizona Senate.
There was no way calling the election so early was legitimate

Most of what Tucker does is spot on, but it is NOT a news broadcast.

That's funny because Tucker originally came to Fox from CNN.
Apparently he was too conservative / libertarian for the CNN crowd back then, and now it seems the same thing is happening at Fox.
I don't think HE has changed much, but the industry he works in certainly has.

Quote from: neurosis post_id=19648 time=1639402694 user_id=49It's pretty sad to see what our so called news has turned in to. A bunch of editorialists pretending to be journalists.

Couldn't agree more.
They ALL push a political agenda, and they are ALL more interested in ratings than simply reporting the news and letting the viewers form their own opinions.
Sadly those days are long gone, and the new paradigm is fully established.
Whether you are watching Fox or CNN, it is nothing but spin, spin, spin, 24/7/365...

IMO, the problem is too much news. On any given day there is about 20-30 minutes of news to report. In order to fill a 24/7 news cycle they have to add "opinion". In the ratings competition they have to "one up" the other broadcasters. This leads to the activism journalism that is rampant at all news outlets.

Basically the same with me. I was outraged. What really bothered me was as the race was tightening up and it became clear and obvious it was too close to call, FOX refused to take down their election call. To really add insult to injury, MSNBC and CNN both did not call Arizona early. I think one of them did (but FOX was first), but to their credit they took down their call.

It's usually one or the other.

Quote from: Smit post_id=19647 time=1639402379 user_id=66From what I've seen (small sample size and all) Chris Wallace is a real journalist with some honest journalistic integrity.

Fox is the highest rated channel as far as viewership goes for sure. I doubt Wallace's show was up there very high though. Honest journalism is NOT what people who love Faux news are there for so I'm sure the majority of Fox viewers regard him as a liberal or RINO.

Guess you must have missed where he re-hashed the nutso liberal propogana LIE about the "Many fine people"  while 'moderating' the Trump-Bidet debate. :popo:  :secret:

Quote from: neurosis post_id=19646 time=1639400778 user_id=49My Aunt is a pretty liberal Democrat. She's not quite to that nutso progressive stage, but not far to the right of it.    She thinks that Wallace is a mouth piece for the right.

That just goes to show that in todays political environment there is no place for a nonpartisan journalist. You either tow the line for one side or the other, or get shit on by both.

Oh he's partisan. He's just less partisan than a bunch of his peers which makes it appear as though he's whatever. The fact is he goes HARD against the right, and only goes hard against the left.

A TRUE journalist would have asked or better yet, gone HARD on Bill Clinton about why he intervened and forced Loral engineers to help China fix their ICBM Satellite launch platform guidance issues. Ya know, that treasonous piece of shit deserves to be drawn and quartered for that.

Candy crowly for (incorrectly) arguing with Mit Romney.
Funny how all these just happen to be against Republicans.

The Wallace debate was the only one I ever turned off.
