I certainly haven't had it during the course of the pandemic, I was very sick just before it was in the news,

same , pretty sure it was , but never tested and probably never will
funny thing is I haven't been sick since

mayday

never got tested never will
thank goodness it's not an anal test cause I'm feed up with seeing
people get an 1/8 dia. rod jammed in there arm and a floor mop jammed in there nose.
I can't watch the news anymore. I don't understand the long long lines at these so called test sites.
What's the point????????
If you feel the need to sit in your car for 4 hours you will die of carbine monoxide.

Here's Johnny!

Think of it as a multi-axis probing routine.....LMAO!!! ;D

My vote was "I don't think so". At least 2/3 of our shop has had it and most of the CNC people on the floor will come to me for advise so the chance of me catching it would seem to be better than average.

I would have been in the "I Don't Know" had I had a different job. Since I do have to go into other people's facilities, I believe it's the responsible thing to do. I certainly do not like getting tested because it puts me on yet another government list.

Looking back, I would say on average I get "sick" once a year. That could be anything from a persistent cough to sneezing, to runny nose, etc... on average every 5 years (at least since I've been with my current employer) I get something that kicks my ass a bit and I'm bed ridden. Not too bad considering how much I travel and how many difference facilities I enter every year. There's probably a few days per year where my allergies are such that I need to take allerggy pills, and before they kick in I'm sneeezing, watery eyes, etc...

Had it right after Thanksgiving. Got the monoclonal antibody treatment. Now the drug I am on for my UC has stopped working. Mentioned it to the nurse when I called the GI clinic. She said it's possible that the treatment screwed up my response to the drug. Said the medical community is basically flying blind with the vaccines and treatments because nobody really knows what the interaction is going to be.

i've had two pfizer and the booster and it hasn't changed anything with my remicade infusions,
GI wouldn't continue treatments unless i got the vaccine

Yes/I don't know

The yes part:
Last spring when I donated blood they detected antibodies in my blood. So I must of had it.

The I don't know part:
Right around Christmas I started having a sore throat, followed by congestion that wouldn't drain, causing headaches. Also felt like my ears needed to pop constantly. Also fatigue. At least 8 people that I am close to tested positive with the same symptoms, including the girl I am currently seeing. Out of curiosity and also because I wanted to know if I should worry about my kids, I got tested. Negative. From what I have read, false negatives come across 25% of the time with the test I took. So who knows???

My clinic never made me get it. Remicade and Stelara did not work. On Humira now. Before Thanksgiving my cal protectin number was 27. First time in over a year and a half I had a normal reading. Last week back up over 200 and cramping like crazy.  I've been toughing it out to see if it may start working again. Don't want to go back up on my Prednisone. Down to 8mgs on Monday. Taper is 1 mg every two weeks. My doctor said we are running out of options and surgery could be in my future.

BTW. Congrats on the retirement.

I use to give blood regularly but since this Covid crap started I haven't been.
I'm not allowed to go to a restaurant, museum or my kids hockey game but giving blood is ok...
Just a slap in the face. I can't feel proud to do it anymore I just feel like a chump.
