Not quite sure what to call this-ambient? Ooh wait, the description calls it "Divine Ambient." I gotta say I like it, whatever you call it.

Ya gotta listen to the *whole* thing (whatever you call it)....it's trippy (*definitely*) and beautiful (IMHO). Makes me think I've gotta go dig up some of Brian Eno's stuff-I have only vague recollections of what that was like.

I really like some of this guy's stuff that has this sort of thing with guitar in there too (but just sparingly).

I sent this to a friend of mine a week ago and he asked: "what planet is he on now?"

So far, the bit of his stuff I've dug into leaves me really liking the progression of his music over time-from sorta hippie/psychedelia (with Gong), thru to his next solo stuff ("Fish Rising") and onto his trance/EDM/ambient stuff (System7) with his wife/collaborator Miquette Giraudy on synths.



The evolution is interesting-he didn't just stay stuck on guitar (though I really like his sound on that)-he just kept on going.

It's really sad what happened to Jason Becker.  He was one of the forefronts of ridiculous guitar work.

This is great, and hilarious....the bass player is wondering what the hell is going on, and why he doesn't have one of those cool beanies! LOL
