Hey Brian, Have you ever been on discord?  There is someone that I'd like to eventually introduce you to.  He's kind of a music snob, but you're taste in music meshes with his really well.

I haven't....what is it? (Like I need more musical distractions in my life-LOL!) Sure, I'd love to meet your friend and hear what he's into.

Every time I "discover" something new (to me, anyway) it always makes me wonder what *else* I've been missing all my life! Jeez, when I was a kid I loved to read (encyclopedias, those Time-Life books, National Geographic, etc) for hours...my brain would probably explode if I was a kid these days now that we've got the web. I'd probably never leave my room!

Thanks, Brian

He's usually on Friday nights, but a little later.

Discord is a voice chat server. We usually hang out there every weekend. It's more of a gaming server, but this guy pretty much turned it in to a juke box chat channel.  He also runs a beer blog.

I'll ask him if he's cool with posting the ling to the discord. If you want to join some time and talk music, I'll leave that up to you.

I think that firken is a reference to beer.  And his blog.
