Wow, I hadn't heard this version before!

In case anyone is curious, "Proto-Cosmos" is one of the tracks off of the "Believe It" album by Tony Williams Lifetime. AH played guitar in this band before heading off on his own.

The keyboard player, Alan Pasqua, was also a member of this band.

I *think* I may have previously posted this entire album "Bundles", but here's the entire first (multi-part) track, and it really kicks!

It's great to hear Allan Holdsworth early on before he went off on his own, but this whole band is great.

It's not that the instrumental virtuosity is trivial, but what's most remarkable in my amateur opinion is the composition, and not the execution! Like how did he cook this up?
