Freezing rain and sleet here currently. Supposed to change to snow. Huge winter storm coming out of Texas.

It will no doubt be a shit show in Texas. They can't even handle rain, let alone snow or God forbid ice.

In southern VT, Conneticut, New York State, etc. there is going to be a band of freezing rain that may be an inch or more thick. That is going to be a problem.

In 2009 we had the worst ice storm I ever saw. Looked like the land was nuked.

Just rain here in my neck of the woods in PA.

Me and my Mrs. have tickets for a hockey game tomorrow night to celebrate her birthday.
We are hoping the weather cooperates, because the rain is supposed to change to freezing rain and ice. :-\

Meh, this storm was a disappointment up here. The 15-20" predicted turned into 8-12". Wind never really picked up like it was supposed to. Temps stayed up close to freezing.

I grilled pork chops after plowing last night...

The last time we got 8" of snow a snow plow didn't get to my street for 3 days. I live on a corner lot so I shoveled the street to get to a plowed intersection.

We just don't have the snow removal equipment you northerners have.

Flycut

So much crap going on in the world nobody talks about the weather anymore. :-\

Yeah. Here we consider 8 inches of snow more an annoyance than a storm.

I used to get excited over 8" of snow when I skied.

Two hip replacements later and I don't get so excited except vicariously.

It came through here Tuesday night and yesterday. I think we got 6-7 inches after a layer of ice. The worst part here, for me anyway, was the cold and wind. It was 7 degrees Fahrenheit this morning but the wind was blowing 20-30 mph out of the north. I don't know how the people living in sod huts back in the day survived.

Probably why they died at 45.

They were Republicans. ;D

They were prepared.

They didn't ask for .Gov to save them.

They weren't entitled.

And Finally......

They stayed in their Damn Sod Hut. 8)
