First time I haven't watched an olympics in 25 years.

Boring to me. Watched some curling. A few snowboarding events. Meh.

I think nearly half the black athletes are on the Jamaican bobsled team.

I'm not actively watching either, but I did catch part of a womens' hockey game on Saturday morning.

My Mrs. and I went to see a Penguins AHL game on Friday night and we stayed overnight.

I turned the tv on in our hotel room on Saturday morning as we were getting ready for breakfast, and the USA vs. Russia women's game was on live, so I watched some of it.  We went for breakfast, then came back to our room where the game was still going on, so I watched a bit more.

Team USA was ahead 5-0 in the third period when we checked out, so I am assuming they went on to win.

A girl my wife babysat for growing up is playing hockey in the Olympics. Unfortunately she is playing FOR China.....

Unfortunate for her. It's really just a question of who wins between the US and Kanardia. All other women's teams are a very distant third.

So much so that some reporter from Toronto wrote an article saying women's hockey should be dropped as an Olympic sport until the rest of the world has a chance.

USA men's hockey team defeated by Slovakia. Eliminated. Went 0 for 5 in shootout.

Slovakia has this radically good player. Leads tournament in goals scored. Slafkovsky. Just 17 years old.
